Hi Zely, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.Hello! I am Zely! Wife and mother of two beautiful children. WeddingsbyZely started in late 2019 after helping a friend as what they referred to me rescuing their wedding day! I’ve coordinated events for previous jobs and family gatherings but never thought I’d make it into a business. A friend in the wedding industry saw me coordinate a wedding and advised that I should be doing it for a living. Since then, I took a leap of faith, and 18 months later, we’ve been able to help many couples enjoy their wedding day stress-free.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome? Honestly, the most challenging obstacle is believing in myself. It’s so easy to fall into the path of comparison. Comparing yourself creates fear and paralyzes you from doing what you feel you are destined to do. I try to stay away from negative self-talk and remind myself with affirmations that everything that I need, I already have.
What helps me is personal development, whether it’s praying, reading books, listening to podcasts that help me grow within my self-doubts and fears. I also have an amazing husband, a circle of close friends who are constantly cheering me on and supporting me. Also, reading the reviews and feedback from couples fuels me.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others? WEDDINGSBYZELY is committed to providing our couples with a stress-free wedding experience that will closely align with the vision of their dreams. We take over all the behind-the-scenes details and make it a memorable day for you to remember. As your day-of wedding coordinator, I am responsible for making sure the wedding day is executed perfectly.
My role includes overseeing all your vendors. I start communicating with them as early as three months before your wedding day. On the day of the celebration, I am the point of contact for all vendors and guests. I am your manager on duty, overseeing their work and making sure they do their job according to their contracted obligations. All questions are fielded to me, so you, as the couple, are free to enjoy the moments of your day.
I create your timeline and manage it day-of. I run your rehearsal, and I am responsible for overcoming any last-minute challenges that may arise on your wedding day. I am quick on my feet, a problem solver, and a master at keeping calm in the event there is a high-pressure situation.

From setting up to tearing down and everything in between, you can count on us! Our priority is to bring peace of mind to our couples on their wedding day, so they may be able to enjoy every moment to the fullest, knowing and trusting that we’ve got it.
